What Web3 Close does
- The field list
- It says what the files a month-end close starts from have to carry for the close to be traceable. You may use the page in your own material, with our name on it or without.
- The check of header rows
- Send us the header row of each file you close from: the first line only. We reply field by field with what is present, what is missing, and what to ask the provider.
What Web3 Close does not do
Nothing on the site or in a reply is accounting or tax advice. The accounting treatment belongs to the accountant.
Web3 Close posts nothing to a ledger, certifies nothing for audit, and does not trade, hold funds or make payments.
The field list says what a file has to carry. It does not say how anything is treated in the accounts or for tax, or whether any figure is right.
A header row cannot show whether a column is filled, how dates and decimals are written, or whether an identifier repeats. A reply reads the shape of a file and nothing more.
What it costs
There is no charge for the check of header rows.
What to leave out
Field names only. Send no client names, balances or transactions. A file given through an assistant with any line after its header row is refused. Where a message by email holds more than header rows, we use the first line of each file only.
What we keep
What Web3 Close keeps about people, why, for how long and how to have it deleted is in the privacy notice at web3.co.uk/privacy. These terms add nothing to it. Header rows given through an assistant are not kept. A message by email is kept as the notice says.
Through an assistant
An assistant you use can ask for a check of your header rows, through our connector.
What we keep of a request made that way is in the privacy notice.
The company that makes the assistant handles your conversation under its own terms. They are not ours.
